Thanks for getting that off your chest. I hope it made you feel better.
Needless to say, I have to disagree with you - I don't think it's fair to say that I bad-mouth the places I visit. Sure, I'm critical of some places I've visited, but that's because I'm always honest about what I feel, even at the risk of offending those, like you, who disagree. If you take the time to read my site, you'll find plenty of articles that are complimentary about the places I visit - indeed, I'd say the majority are upbeat. I guess my reply to you would be: 'What's the point in travelling to these places if all you're going to do is write nice things about them?' How boring - and dishonest - would that be?
I've always found honesty to be the best policy, which is why it's always refreshing to receive messages like yours... 😈 Happy travels!
