Subject: Your request re photographs of Chennai Hi Martin. Here's the text of an email I've just sent you... Thanks for your query about using two of my Chennai photos on one of your client's sites. Before I grant you permission to publish (which I almost certainly will), can I check a few things with you? 1. Is the usage commercial or non-commercial? If it's the latter then I won't have any objections, but if it's the former can you tell me a bit more about what the project is? (I only ask in case the company concerned is one to whom I would rather not provide my content, which I'm sure won't be the case.) 2. Would you like me to send you high resolution versions of the images, with the black and white copyright message removed? If so, just let me know. 3. I won't charge for use of my images, but I do ask that I am credited as the copyright owner for the image, either in the image itself (as on my site), or somewhere on the page, along the lines of 'Photograph copyright (c) Mark Moxon'. Is this acceptable? I look forward to your reply, when hopefully I can grant you permission to publish. Best wishes, Mark |
